BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week and fifth time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Molly Rouillard has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
A native of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Rouillard posted the highest finish among MASCAC runners at the New England Alliance Championships on Saturday at Moore State Park in Paxton, Mass. as she placed seventh with a time 19:49.9 over the five kilometer layout.
Rouillard, who the week before captured the individual crown at the MASCAC Championship meet in Westfield, earned All-New England Alliance honors by finishing in the top 20.
Bridgewater tied for third place in the team standings as senior Jessica Eidinger (Sutton, Mass.) and junior Diana DeMont (West Springfield, Mass.) also recorded All-New England Alliance performances as they placed ninth (20:13.2) and 20th (20:51.7) respectively.
The BSU cross country teams will head to Williams College on November 13th for the New England Division III Championships.
