Molly Rouillard Named MASCAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University junior Molly Rouillard has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Wesleyan Invitational this past Saturday.
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University junior Molly Rouillard has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Wesleyan Invitational this past Saturday.
A native of Dartmouth Massachusetts, Rouillard posted a second place finish in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:52.17. She also ran a leg on the Bears' event winning 4 x 400-meter relay squad (4:11.06) along with classmates Co Davis (Mansfield, Mass.) and Sarah Lagasse (Rehoboth, Mass.) and freshman Malgorzata Czerwonka (Billerica, Mass.).
Rouillard has qualified for the New England Division III Championships and the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships in the 3k, the 4 x 400 relay as well as the 400-meter dash. She has also qualified for the ECAC Division III Championship meet in the 3,000 and the 4 x 400.
This past fall season, Rouillard was a six-time MASCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week and earned both conference runner and rookie of the year honors.
This coming Saturday, Rouillard and her indoor track and field teammates will compete in the Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University.
