Christina Minich Named Little East Conference Diver of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Christina Minich has been selected as the Little East Conference Diver of the Week.

Minich recorded a pair of top-three finishes against Roger Williams University in her only meet of the week. The Wellesley, Massachusetts product placed second on the one-meter board (174.60 pts) and third on the three-meter (166.43 pts).

So far this season, Minich has placed first three times on the one-meter board and twice on the three-meter. She also has a pair of third place showings and one second. Minich's high score of 185.80 points on the one-meter came against Regis College, while she recorded a personal best 171 points on the three-meter versus UMass Dartmouth.

The BSU women's swimming and diving team is off until Saturday, December 3rd when they compete at the Little East Conference Championships hosted by UMass Dartmouth.
