BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming and diving team dropped a 126-91 decision to visiting Roger Williams University on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Bears fall to 1-4 in dual meet competition.
Sophomore Loren Phinney (Holbrook, Mass.) won a pair of events for the host Bears as she captured first place in both the 200 freestyle (2:05.98) and 200 backstroke (2:24.73).
Junior Caroline McMillan (Whitman, Mass.) grabbed second place in the 50 freestyle (:28.68), while sophomore Rhiannon White (Falmouth, Mass.) finished second in the 400 individual medley (5:17.79).
After a brief layoff, the Bears will compete in the Little East Conference Championships hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, December 4th at 11:00 AM.
