Renee Lawler began her second stint on the Bridgewater State women's soccer staff in the summer of 2025 as she is serving as the director of soccer operations. Renee previously served as an assistant coach on the staff from 2018 to 2023.
A 2015 graduate of Division II Stonehill College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Renee played four seasons on the Skyhawks women's soccer team from 2011 to 2014. In 59 career games, she recorded eight goals (two game-winners) and four assists for 20 points and captained the team her senior season. Renee was selected to play in the NEWISA Senior Bowl fin 2014.
Renee played high school soccer at Pembroke High School and was a two-time Patriot League All-Star. She set the single-season goal scoring record at Pembroke her senior year. Renee played club soccer for the Southcoast Scorpions and NEFC, serving as a captain on both teams.
Prior to joining the BSU coaching staff, Renee coached with FC Stars football club and Hunters Lane High School in Nashville Tennessee.
Renee earned a Master of Arts degree in mathematics from BSU. She is currently teaching mathematics at Stoughton High School.
