Jessica Chiachio Named MASCAC Player of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State College senior forward Jessica Chiachio has been named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week. 

A native of Stoneham, Massachusetts, Chiachio tallied a pair of goals in BSC's 3-0 shutout win over Framingham State on Saturday which clinched a berth for the Bears in the upcoming MASCAC Tournament.  With her two goals, Chiachio moved into sixth place on the Bears' all-time scoring list as she now has 48 points in her career.  She is tied with Jeannie Rooney who played at BSC from 1993 to 1996.

In four seasons, Chiachio has 20 goals to her credit to go along with 8 assists. She is tied for third on the team this season in goals with 4 and is tied for second in assists with 3.
