2011 All-Little East Conference Men's Tennis Team (PDF)

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University freshman Cody Farrell has been voted to the 2011 All-Little East Conference Men’s Tennis Team by the league’s coaches. Farrell is a first team selection at the sixth singles flight.

A native of Scituate, Massachusetts, Farrell posted a 10-1 overall record in singles play in his first season with the Bears including a 4-1 mark against Little East opponents. He went 8-1 competing at the sixth flight and 2-0 at number five, and ended the campaign on a six-match winning streak.

Farrell also teamed with senior Nicholas Amrose (Arlington, Mass.) at second flight doubles as the duo went 6-9 in 15 matches.

The Bridgewater State men’s tennis team completed the 2011 season with a record of 7-9 overall and 2-4 in the Little East.  Seeded fifth at the conference tournament, the Bears dropped a 5-0 opening round decision to fourth-seeded University of Southern Maine.
