BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Theo Roan has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Diver and Rookie Diver of the Week.

Roan captured top honors on the one-meter board in his collegiate debut in the Bears' 131-90 setback to Wheaton College. The Peabody, Massachusetts native posted a six-dive score of 183.65 points in the one-meter diving competition to win the event.

The LEC Diver of the Week honors mark the first of Roan's career.

The BSU men's swimming and diving team is off until Saturday, November 23rd when the Bears travel to Clark University for a one o'clock meet with the Cougars.
