Alexandra Ruprecht joined the BSU Athletics and Recreation staff as a graduate assistant for academic support and compliance in September of 2021. Alex is a 2021 graduate of Bridgewater State where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in special education. Growing up in Kingston, Massachusetts, Alex played four years of softball at Silver Lake Regional High School and continued her playing career at Bridgewater State. Alex has been the Bears' starting center fielder since joining the team as a freshman in 2018. She is a three-time All-MASCAC selection and was also named to the 2020-2021 Academic All-District® One Division III Softball Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Alex captained the Bears each of the last two seasons and will be back in the lineup in the spring of 2022 as a graduate student. Alex is currently working towards her Masters in special education moderate disabilities. In her role as a graduate assistant, Alex will be working closely under Associate Director of Athletic Susan Crosby-Tangen creating leadership programs and providing academic support for student athletes.
