BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Freshman Sophia Morin (Centerville, Mass.) was the lone member of the Bridgewater State University women's indoor track & field to compete on Wednesday at the Bryant Indoor Throws Competition.
Morin posted a mark of 29 feet, 4.5 inches (8.95m) in the shot put to place 13th out of a field of 17 competitors.
The meet featured student-athletes from all three NCAA divisions as well as unattached athletes.
Sophomore Panayiota Anastos (Endwell, N.Y.) of Division I and host Bryant University won the shot put with a distance of 41 feet, 0.5 inches (12.51m).
The BSU women's indoor tack & field team will be back in action on Saturday, January 17th when the Bears compete at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational hosted by Tufts University.
