Grace Inacio Named MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week and fifth time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Grace Inacio has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week.

Inacio earned All-NEICAAA honors in the 200-meter dash this past weekend at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at UMass Amherst. The Taunton, Massachusetts product placed eighth in the 200 with a time of 25.09 seconds.

The MASCAC Rookie of the Week honor marks the 12th of the academic year for Inacio who also garnered the accolade seven times during the indoor season.

Several members of the BSU outdoor track & field teams will compete on Thursday afternoon at the MIT Final Qualifier.
