BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the fourth time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Grace Inacio has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week.

Inacio earned All-New England honors in the 200-meter dash this past weekend at the Division III New England Championships held at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The Taunton, Massachusetts product placed seventh in the 200 with a career-best time of 24.99 seconds as she helped the Bears finish seventh in the team standings at the meet with 35 points.

Inacio currently ranks tenth in the East Region in the 200.

The MASCAC Rookie of the Week honor marks the 11th of the academic year for Inacio who also garnered the accolade seven times during the indoor season.

Qualifying members of the BSU women's outdoor track & field team will compete on Friday and Saturday at the NEICAAA Championships hosted by UMass Amherst.
