BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the fifth time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Cailey Simard has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

A native of Haverhill, Massachusetts, Simard won both diving events to lead the Bears at a tri-meet hosted this past weekend by Keene State College. She captured top honors in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 245.15 points, and placed first on the three-meter board with 278.25 points.

Simard currently ranks 18th in all of Division III on the three-meter board for a six-dive event and 21st on the one-meter. 

The LEC Diver of the Week honor marks the 22nd of Simard's career. She also garnered the accolade nine time in 2023-2024 and eight times as a rookie in 2022-2023.

In upcoming action, the BSU swimming and diving teams host Division II Bentley University on Wednesday evening at six o'clock.
