Barinelli, Stalters Compete at Emory Spring Break Classic

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Two members of the Bridgewater State University men's outdoor track & field team competed on Saturday during day two of the Emory Spring Break Classic on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Senior Corey Stalters (Norton, Mass.) placed tenth in the shot put with a career-best toss of 41 feet, 10.50 inches (12.76m).

Junior Thomas Barinelli (Tewksbury, Mass.) finished 26th in the preliminaries of the 100-meter dash (11.38) and then placed sixth in the finals with a collegiate-best time of 11.37 seconds.

The Bears finished 13th in the team standings with 23 points.
