Under the watchful eye of Gorman, Bridgewater posted a record of 9-6 in 2012 and finished second in the Little East standings with a 4-2 conference mark.
Seeded second at the Little East Tournament, BSU recorded a 5-4 semifinal victory over number three Western Connecticut State University to advance to the tournament title match against top-seeded UMass Dartmouth. The Bears' season, however, would come to an end with a 5-0 setback to the Corsairs.
Junior Nicholas Desisto (Uxbridge, Mass.) earned all-conference honors under Gorman this season as he was named to the second team at sixth flight singles.
In four seasons at the helm of the Bears' men's tennis program, Gorman has directed his teams to an overall record of 36-29 (.554) including a 14-10 (.583) mark in the Little East.
Gorman, who also coaches the BSU women's team, was named the Little East Women's Tennis Coach of the Year in the fall of 2010.
