BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team dropped a 190-44 decision to visiting Babson College on Senior Day at the Moriarty Pool.

The Bears fall to 2-6 in dual meet competition while the visiting Beavers improve to 7-2.

Junior Desmond Ng (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia) placed second in the 200 individual medley with a season-best time of 2:00.01. Freshman Matthew Jo (Tewksbury, Mass.) added a second-place performance in the 100 backstroke touching the wall in 59.33 seconds. Jo was competing in the 100 back for the first time since joining the Bears. 

Prior to the start of the meet, the Bears honored seniors Owen Lasbury-Casey (Mansfield, Mass.), Michael Losardo (Pittsfield, Mass.), Thomas Roch (Chelmsford, Mass.), Timothy Simpson (Mattapan, Mass.), Cameron Srebnick (Chelmsford, Mass.) and Cameron Stringfellow (Wrentham, Mass.).

The Bears wrap up regular season competition next Saturday when they travel to Little East Conference foe Plymouth State University for a two o'clock dual meet with the Panthers.
