Cameron Walty Named MASCAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman forward Cameron Walty has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

A native of Weymouth, Massachusetts, Walty potted his first collegiate goal in the Bears' 3-2 MASCAC win on the road last week over MCLA.

Walty is the Bears' first MASCAC Rookie of the Week recipient since teammate Nicholas Ribeiro earned the honor three times in 2023.

The BSU men's soccer team is currently 3-4 on the season and 2-1 in the MASCAC. The Bears entertain Emerson College on Tuesday night at seven o'clock.
