BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman forward Ansley Glemaud has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.
Glemaud assisted on the game-winning goal in the Bears' 1-0 road shutout win over Coast Guard. The Dorchester Central, Massachusetts native delivered a crossing pass that was headed into the back of the net by junior Connor Wesloski (Wilbraham, Mass.) to break a scoreless tie in the 65th minute.
In nine games this season, Glemaud has two goals (one game-winner) and three assists for seven points.
Glemaud also earned the honor back on October 6th.
The BSU men's soccer team is currently 9-5-1 on the season and 4-1-1 in the MASCAC standings. The Bears travel to Fitchburg State University on Saturday morning for an eleven o'clock MASCAC game with the Falcons.
