11 Bears Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Eleven members of the Bridgewater State University field hockey team have been selected to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad.

Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Seniors Catherine Daoulas (Marshfield, Mass.), Irianny Solorin (Methuen, Mass.) and Emelia Westwater (Attleboro, Mass.) juniors Madison Ellis (Attleboro, Mass.), Abigail Lambert (Harrisville, R.I.), Emma Luis (Georgetown, Mass.) and Abbie Zuber (Westport, Mass.); and sophomores Taylor Carter (East Walpole, Mass.), Alison Curran (Braintree, Mass.), Kallie Rose (Dartmouth, Mass.) and Samantha Souza (Dartmouth, Mass.) all garnered the honor for Bridgewater State.

More than 1,800 student-athletes from more than 147 Division III institutions earned recognition on the 2025 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.
