Demi Miskiv Named Little East Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University junior forward Demi Miskiv has been named the Little East Conference Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week.
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University junior forward Demi Miskiv has been named the Little East Conference Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week.
Miskiv produced 11 points, on five goals and an assist, to help the Bridgewater State field hockey team post a 2-0 mark last week with wins over Salve Regina and Little East foe Southern Maine. The Centerville, Massachusetts native recorded her first career hat trick in a 6-2 victory over the Seahawks and added two goals and a helper in an 8-3 road triumph over the Huskies.
Miskiv, who transferred to BSU from Framingham State, presently ranks sixth in the Little East in scoring (11 pts.), and is tied for fifth in goals (5).
In 40 games over three seasons with the Bears and Rams, Miskiv has amassed 16 goals and six assists for 38 points.
The BSU field hockey team is currently 5-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Babson College on Tuesday evening for a six o’clock game with the Beavers, and then host LEC foe Fitchburg State on Saturday afternoon at three.
