Offensive Line Selected to D3football.com Team of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University starting offensive line has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week. The o-line was honored for its performance in the Bears' dramatic 41-35 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) overtime win over Anna Maria College this past Saturday.

Senior left tackle Matthew Leofanti (Franklin, Mass.), senior left guard John Vincent (East Falmouth, Mass.), sophomore center Jaeden Ortiz (Zephyrhills, Fla.), sophomore right guard Philip D'Alleva (Peabody, Mass.) and sophomore right tackle Joshua Yentz (Fall River, Mass.) paved the way for a season-high 549 yards of total offense (366 rushing, 183 passing) in the victory over the AMCATS.

The Bears put together six touchdown drives, five in regulation, including an 11-play, 75-yard drive, a six-play, 99-yard drive, a six-play, 82-yard drive, a three-play, 84-yard drive and a six-play, 36-yard drive.

Thanks in part to the outstanding play of the offensive line, senior running back Andrew Cloutman (Hanson, Mass.) rushed for career highs of 237 yards and four touchdowns on 27 carries while senior running back Isaiah Wright (Worcester, Mass.) added 102 yards on 27 attempts. Cloutman's final score was a four-yard walk-off TD in overtime.

The offensive line did not committ any penalties on the day and the BSU offensive had an advantage of more than five minutes in time of possession.

This marks the sixth time that a Bears' offensive line has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week and first since 2022.

The BSU football team is currently 5-4 on the season and 5-3 in the MASCAC. The Bears wrap up the 2025 campaign on Saturday when they travel to Massachusetts Maritime Academy for the 46th Annual Cranberry Bowl.
