Ben McMahon Selected to D3football.com Team of the Week
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University graduate linebacker Ben McMahon has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time in his career, Bridgewater State University graduate linebacker Ben McMahon has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
McMahon notched a game-high 11 tackles (six solo), including one for loss, to go along with an interception in a 24-21 setback last week to WPI. He returned the interception 32 yards.
In 21 games over three seasons with the Bears, MaMahon has amassed 76 tackles (37 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, a pair of sacks, three interceptions and six pass breakups.
McMahon also garnered D3football.com Team of the Week honors back in 2019 for his outstanding performance in a week seven win over UMass Dartmouth.
The BSU football team is currenrtly 0-2 on the season. The Bears will open Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) play on Saturday at noon as they welcome Plymouth State University to Mazzaferro Field.
