Men’s Rugby finished their spring sevens season with a 10-4-3 record across four tournaments. They capped off the season with a hard-fought 1st place finish at home, closing things out on a high note in front of their own crowd. The team picked up a number of quality wins throughout the season and consistently showed up ready to compete each week. Even in the tighter matches that ended in draws or losses, the Bears battled hard and kept games close against tough opponents.

 

Throughout the season, the team continued to develop chemistry and build depth, with contributions coming from both veteran players and newer members of the squad. Each tournament brought improvement, and the group showed resilience in close matches while continuing to grow week to week. Overall, it was a successful season that set a solid foundation moving forward, and the Bears are looking to carry that momentum into the fall.

 

The Bears will wrap up the spring with their Alumni Match on Saturday, May 2nd at 5 PM, where current players will take on former members of the program. It’s always a great opportunity to bring the team together and celebrate the continued growth of BSU Rugby.
