BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women’s cross country team began preparation for the 2024 season as the Bears reported to campus Monday (Aug. 20) morning and hit the track and the trails for the first time on Tuesday.
The 2024 campaign gets underway on Saturday, August 31st when the BSU harriers, under the guidance of third-year head coach, Christine Kloiber, travel to the Mark Coogan Cross Country Course in Attleboro, Massachusetts for the 10th Annual Wheaton & Babson Season Opener. The team will also compete at the 51st Annual UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 21st, the Keene State Invitational on Saturday, October 5th and the Connecticut College Invitational at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Connecticut on Saturday, October 19th.
The MASCAC Championships will take place on Saturday, November 2nd at the Doyle Conservation Center in Leominster, Massachusetts with Fitchburg State University serving as the host institution, while the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Contoocook, New Hampshire will be the site of the NCAA Division III East Region Championships on Saturday, November 16th.
