BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week, Bridgewater State University senior Cailey Simard has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

Simard swept the diving events on Sunday as the Bears split a tri-meet hosted by Division II Saint Michael's College. The Haverhill, Massachusetts product posted six-dive scores of 268.95 points on the one-meter board and 281.45 points on the three-meter plank.

The LEC Diver of the Week honor marks the 26th of Simard's career. The three-time Little East Diver of the Year also garnered the accolade seven times last season, nine times in 2023-2024 and eight times as a rookie in 2022-2023.

The BSU women's swimming and diving team is back in action on Friday, November 14th when the Bears head to Willimantic, Connecticut for the Eastern Connecticut State University Relays.
