BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior goalkeeper Logan Levesque has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Levesque made eight saves and posted an .800 save percentage as well as a 1.00 goal against average over 180 minutes of work in an 0-1-1 week for the Bears. The Bristol, Rhode Island product turned aside seven shots in a 1-0 non-conference setback to Roger Williams and made one save in 1-1 MASCAC tie with Westfield State.
In eight games this season, Levesque is 3-4-1 with three shutouts and a 2.00 goals against average in 720 minutes of work. She has turned aside 51 shots and currently sports a .761 save percentage.
Levesque currently ranks second among the MASCAC goaltending leaders in wins and is tied for second in games played and minutes played. She is also third in both wins and shutouts.
In 58 games (all starts) over four seasons with the Bears, Levesque is 33-19-6 with 21 career shutouts (20 solo), 328 saves and an .804 save percentage. She has also posted a 1.40 goals against average to date in 5,143-plus (5143:40) minutes of action.
Levesque is presently second among the Bears' all-time goaltending leaders in wins as well as third in shutouts, saves, games played and minutes played. She also ranks fifth in goals against average.
The MASCAC weekly honor marks the sixth of Levesque's career. She also earned the accolade twice during the 2023 campaign and three times in 2024.
The BSU women's soccer team is currently 3-5-1 on the season and 3-0-1 in the MASCAC standings. The Bears host Gordon College on Wednesday night at seven o'clock.
