DEDHAM, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College men's 4x800 relay team set a new BSC school record on Saturday at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Northeastern's Solomon Track.
Sophomores Mike Sukeforth (Middleboro, MA) and Bill Taft (Hanson, MA), junior Ryan D'Arcangelo (Norfolk, MA) and freshman Stephen Wahome (Lowell, MA) posted a time of 7:57.57 to place 16th in the event as they easily eclipsed the previous BSC standard of 8:04.16 set back in 2002.
Also competing over the weekend for the Bears was senior Kevin White (Swansea, MA). White finished 15th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.30 seconds.
