MEDFORD, Mass. -- Freshman Felix Mensah (Lowell, MA) captured first place in the 55-meter dash to lead the Bridgewater State College men's indoor track and field team at the Tufts Stampede on Saturday.
Mensah, who was third after the preliminaries, posted a time of 6.60 seconds in the finals to win the event. He also finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.52 seconds.
Also highlighting the meet for the Bears was freshman Mohammed Malik (West Bridgewater, MA) and senior Kevin White (Swansea, MA). Malik placed seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 41'8", while White finished fourth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.18 seconds.
