BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior Matthew Krampf has been selected to the 2024-2025 Academic All-District® One Division III Men's Tennis Team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Krampf is one of just three student-athletes from the Little East Conference (LEC) to earn the honor. He is joined by Azam Jiwa of the University of Southern Maine and Caleb Harris of Western Connecticut State University.
The 2024-2025 Academic All-District® Men’s Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for all-academic honors, a student-athlete must be a starter or a key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at his current institution and be nominated by his sports information director. A student-athlete must have also played in at least 70% of his team's head-to-head contests for the 2024-2025 season.
Krampf is making his first appearance on the CSC Academic All-District® One Division III Men's Tennis Team. The geological sciences major checks in with a terrific 3.65 GPA and will be attending commencement ceremonies later this week at Gillette Stadium.
In three seasons with the Bears, Krampf produced a 17-12 singles record including a 10-1 Little East mark. He was also 16-14 in doubles competition with a 7-4 record in conference play.
Krampf helped the BSU men's tennis team post an 8-5 record in the spring of 2025 including a 5-1 conference mark. Seeded second in the Little East Tournament, the Bears posted a 5-0 semifinal round win over #3 UMass Boston before dropping a 5-1 decision to top-seeded Rhode Island College in the tournament championship match.
