BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater state University Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Teams will be hosting pre-season swimming clinics during the months of October and November.
The pre-season swimming clinic is designed to provide an opportunity for swimmers to log in some early season yardage before the winter competitve swim season begins. Swimmers will work towards building a solid base of training intended to make the start of their competitive swim season easier for each swimmer.
Swimmers will have the opportunity to work on refining their competitive strokes through drills focusing on technique and proper execution of all major strokes. There will also be a high focus placed on turns, starts, and the mental aspects & discipline of competitive swimming throughout this clinic.
Swimmers do not need to have any competitive experience to participate in this clinic, but should be able to swim front crawl with rotary and rhythmic breathing before signing up.
This program will be conducted by the Bridgewater State University swimming and diving Coach Michael S. Caruso and the BSU Swimmers. The cost is $75 per clinic. One clinic will take place during the month of October and Clinic #2 will take place in November.
