BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior third baseman Ryan Flaherty, senior pitcher Matt Kustigian and sophomore left fielder Jamie Luna have been selected to the 2026 Academic All-District® One Division III Baseball Team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Flaherty, Kustigian and Luna are three of seven student-athletes from the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) to garner the honor.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible for all-academic honors, a student-athlete must be a starter or a key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at her current institution and be nominated by her sports information director. A student-athlete must have also competed in 90 percent of the team's games or started in at least 66 percent of the games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
