Secovich, Flaherty, Beltramini Earn ABCA All-Region Honors

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior centerfielder Rylan Secovich, senior third baseman Ryan Flaherty and sophomore catcher Cam Beltramini have been selected to the 2026 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region Two Team.

Secovich earned second team honors while Flaherty and Beltramini both garnered third team accolades. Flaherty is making his second straight appearance on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Two Team.

A native of Southwick, Massachusetts, Secovich immediately made his presecence felt in the BSU lineup in 2026 after transferring from Dean College. He batted .395 (62-157) while starting all 40 games in centerfield with five doubles, five triples and a school-record 41 stolen bases. Secovich also posted a .464 on base percentage and played a dazzling centerfield with no errors and three outfield assists.

Secovich led the MASCAC in stolen bases, runs scored and at bats in 2026. He also ranked fifth in all of Division III in stolen bases per game (1.02).

Flaherty batted .367 (55-150) with four home runs, ten doubles, 25 walks, 33 runs and a MASCAC-leading 45 RBI in 2026 while starting all 40 games. The Duxbury, Massachusetts native also notched 77 total bases and posted a .513 sluggling percentage as well as a .453 on base percentage.

In 127 games over three seasons with the Bears, Flaherty batted .340 (162-477) with 30 doubles, 27 home runs, 113 runs scored and 154 RBI to go along with a .572 slugging percentage and a .425 on base percentage. He ranks second all-time at BSU in bith runs batted in and home runs (tied with Jay Doherty), and is third in extra base hits (57) and fifth in total bases (273).

Beltramini, who hails from Hanson, Massachusetts, started 37 games at catcher for the Bears in 2026. He batted .375 (45-120) with four home runs, 11 doubles, a triple, six stolen bases, 15 HBP, 39 runs and 26 RBI while posting an impressive .500 on base percentage as well as a .583 slugging percentage.

In 53 career games over his first two seasons with the Bears, Beltamini checks in with a career .343 batting average (48-140) with 12 doubles, four home runs, a triple, eight stolen bases, 45 runs, 28 RBI, a .476 on base percentage and a .529 slugging percentage. 

Secovich, Flaherty and Beltramini helped the Bears capture their fifth straight Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) regular season and tournament championships in 2026. The Bears (30-10) qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament for the fifth straight year and 19th time overall. The BSU baseball team reached the 30-win mark for the eighth time in program history and for the fourth time in the last five years
