Mike Emond

Graduated BSU in 2013 after 4 great years of working for the Bears Sports Network. The experience and relationships I made at BSU and BSN gave me the drive and motivation I needed to make a dream job in sports TV a reality. I interned with the Futures Collegiate Baseball League doing on air and video editing work. I then went on to intern with Comcast SportsNet New England where I was a production assistant for the Felger and Mazz Simulcast. My experience at BSN and my two internships helped land me a job at NESN where I currently hold the title of Content Producer. My role consists of everything from interviewing athletes like Dustin Pedroia and Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, to shooting, editing and writing my own features and news of the day packages. I also held the titles of Studio Technician and production assistant in my two years here at NESN. This all stems from the people at BSU who care and push the students to work hard and chase their dreams.
