BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Sixty-one Bridgewater State University student-athletes have been named to the Little East Conference (LEC) Academic Honor Roll for the spring 2024 semester.
The 61 BSU student-athletes include 20 members of the women's swimming & diving team, 20 representatives from the men's swimming & diving squad, 11 men's tennis players and ten members of the women's tennis team.
To be named the LEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a spring 2025 semester GPA of 3.00 or better and have been an active member of the team at the conclusion of the term.
All told, a total of 2,224 student-athletes competing in the conference’s current 21 championship sports were named to the LEC Academic Honor Roll in recognition of their academic performance in the Spring 2025 semester.
The Academic Honor Roll was one of two new academic recognition programs (along with the LEC Team Academic Awards) introduced by the Little East prior to the 2019 fall season. While the majority of Bridgewater State varsity squads are members of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC), women's swimming & diving, mens swimming & diving, women's tennis and men's tennis called the Little East home in 2024-2025.
