Lindsey Couturier joined the BSU Athletics and Recreation staff as the Coordinator for Athletic External Relations in the summer of 2016.

Couturier is a 2014 graduate of the University of New Haven where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Sports Industries in 2014. Lindsey played four seasons as a third baseman on the Chargers’ Division II softball team as she batted .320 (200-625) in 203 career games. She served as a team captain for three seasons and was selected to the Daktronics Division II All-East Region Second Team and the Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team in 2014. Couturier is New Haven’s all-time leader in runs batted in (157), assists (444), games played (203), and games started (203). She also ranks second all-time in at bats (625), third all-time in doubles (40) and homeruns (24), and fourth all-time in hits (200). During her senior campaign in 2014, Lindsey tied the program record for home runs in a season (12).

Lindsey is a 2016 graduate of Misericordia University, where she earned an MBA with a concentration in Sport Management and was the Graduate Assistant Softball Coach. In her role at Misericordia, Lindsey was heavily involved in recruiting, marketing, social media, and fundraising. In addition, Lindsey served an internship with the Wheaton College Athletic Department during her college years.

In her early years here at BSU, Lindsey worked closely with all teams as the liaison with Admissions as a Recruiting Coordinator as well as spearheading fundraising initiatives such as the Crimson Pride Challenge and Crimson Pride Classic Golf Tournament. During her 8-year span of fundraising for the BSU Athletics Department, the Crimson Challenge brought in over $530k and the Crimson Pride Classic Golf Tournament brought in over $100k.

From May 2017 – June 2022 Lindsey served as BSU’s Head Softball Coach, amassing an overall record of 82-75-2. The 2021 Bears won the MASCAC Championship Series and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament, while Couturier garnered 2021 MASCAC Coach of the Year Honors. Under her leadership, the Bears produced one MASCAC Player of the Year, one MASCAC Pitcher of the Year, two MASCAC Rookies of the Year, and 25 MASCAC All-Conference players. Couturier stepped down as the Bridgewater State University Head Softball Coach in the summer of 2022.

Presently, Lindsey oversees all marketing and social media aspects of the BSU Athletic Department including Media Day Planning and Photography, Social Media Management, Graphic Design, Creating Game Programs, etc.

Couturier currently resides in Taunton, Massachusetts.
