BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the third straight week and ninth time over the past two seasons, Bridgewater State University junior Molly Rouillard has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
A native of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Rouillard posted a 15th place individual finish for the Bears at 32nd Annual Codfish Bowl Invitational hosted by UMass Boston. She recorded a time of 19:19 over the five-kilometer Franklin Park course against all-divisions competition. Rouillard helped the BSU women’s cross country team earn a 14th place showing in the team standings.
Last year during her rookie campaign of 2010, Rouillard captured MASCAC Runner of the Week honors six times and was named both the conference runner and rookie of the year.
Rouillard and her cross country teammates are off this weekend but will be back in action on Saturday, October 8 when they compete at the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.
