BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Ariele Krevosky has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Outdoor Track Co-Athlete of the Week. Krevosky shares the weekly honor along with Fitchburg State University senior Chenice Branquinho.
Krevosky placed in three events at the Corsair Classic hosted by UMass-Dartmouth this past weekend. She earned one second and two third place showings competing in the 100-meter hurdles, long jump, and triple jump. She ran a 16.52 in the hurdles, landed a jump of 15 feet, 2.25 inches (4.63 meters) in the long jump, and 33 feet, three inches (10.13 meters) in the triple jump.
The Oxford, Massachusetts native qualified for the Division III New England Championships in the triple jump earlier this season.
The outdoor season continues for Krevosky and the BSU women’s track and field team as the Bears travel to Eastern Connecticut State University on Friday for the Eastern Invitational.
