BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University sophomore Jillian Hallman has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Rookie Diver of the Week.

Hallman placed fourth on both the one-meter and three-meter diving boards this past weekend in the Bears' 163-77 setback to Wheaton College . The Raynham, Massachusetts native posted a six-dive score of 169.50 points in the one-meter diving competition, and recorded a score of 169.35 points in her three-meter collegiate debut.

The LEC Rookie Diver of the Week honor marks the first of Hallman's career.

The BSU women's swimming & diving team is off until Friday, November 15th when the Bears host UMass Dartmouth at five o'clock.
