Bridgewater State University
Swimming and Diving Recruit Information
Please read the following information if you are interested in
becoming a student at Bridgewater State University. Remember
to scroll to the bottom of this page for all of our swimming and
diving information.
Bridgewater State University is a NCAA Division III athletic
institution. As a NCAA Division III athletic institution we
do not offer any athletic scholarships or any athletic financial
Aid.
However Bridgewater State does offer many financial aid programs
to all of our students which include grants/waivers, work programs,
and loans. As a state-supported institution our costs are
relatively moderate. Please look at our cost comparison chart
(swimming and diving) and see why BSU makes financial
sense.
If you’re a student-athlete attending a two or four year
institution desiring to transfer to BSU you must first obtain
permission to talk to someone at BSU. You can do that one of three
ways: 1. you can request a release from your current athletics
department. 2. you can request the BSU athletics department
to contact your current athletics department for a release.
3. You can visit www.NCAA.com and fill out a NCAA Self-Release
Form. (Procedure #3 is recommended because it is most
private)
